The MaxPro system's passive backplane technology allows easy upgradeability by providing up to 20 expansion slots to support your card intensive applications. Passive backplane technology can also allow configuration of the backplane into multiple systems, each with its own single board computer and expansion slots. This modular architecture surpasses the use of motherboards in mission-critical environments by enabling two independent systems to run multiple, dedicated functions in a single chassis.
