 A Technology Based Company

CSS stays abreast of technology trends and the constantly changing needs of businesses and government agencies. The engineering design staff, the backbone of the company, is immersed in design innovations. Partnering with technology pioneers such as Intel, 3Com and Microsoft, CSS designs cutting-edge computers incorporating the latest technology, often before users perceive the need.

In the early 1990's, CSS Laboratories developed and sold the first version of local bus technology. When the Federal government urged computer manufacturers to design energy efficient "Green PCs", CSS was the first to market with compliant designs and offered the first and only PC using the then popular EISA bus technology.

 Custom Engineering

CSS excels at developing close relationships with its customers, attracting a large share of projects involving custom design of PC-based equipment. The same core of engineers also work with CSS clients to design and implement non-typical PC-based solutions. From the U.S. Navy to telecommunication and broadcast industries, CSS works with companies and agencies to develop solutions.

Working to strict specifications, CSS designed and developed complex PC-based communication devices used in the U.S. Navy's fleet of hovercraft operating under harsh conditions. CSS solved many problems inherent in such equipment and successfully designed and implemented them.

 Developing New Technologies

CSS became involved with the telecommunications industry over five years ago, custom designing and providing some of the first computer equipment to be used in voice recognition and call center applications. Advancing into the broadcast industry, CSS designed and developed equipment for global technology leader and solution provider - a product that is now used by many network and cable broadcasters.

 Future Directions
