Segmented Passive Backplane Power On/Off Sequence
All 2/3 segmented passive backplanes share a common power supply. Switching On or Off from the main switch will boot up all segments. However, if any segment is power down via the segment switch for maintenance, that segment will not boot up until the reset switch for that segment is press. This is because the good power signal is not applied to that segment after the initial system boot.
